CBI WEBSITE HACKED

CBI site hacked
New Delhi, Dec. 3
(PTI): The CBI’s website
was hacked tonight by
a group that calls itself
the Pakistani Cyber
Army.
The homepage of the
CBI website had a
message from the
Pakistani Cyber Army
warning Indians not to
attack Pakistani
websites. Intelligence
agencies have warned
the government often
that proper cyber
security was not in
place.
HC summons
Bijnor (PTI): Allahabad
High Court has
summoned the district
magistrate and
superintendent of
Bijnor police to explain
why a civil judge has
been booked in a hit-
and-run case, without
taking permission from
the Chief Justice. The
case relates to the
death of two boys who
were run over by a
vehicle on November
16.
Judge booked
Dewas (PTI): A
Madhya Pradesh judge
has been booked for
allegedly assaulting his
bride to-be and
demanding cash and
vehicle from her family
while drunk, police said
on Friday. The girl said
that when her family
refused to give in to his
demands, judge Inder
Singh Malaviya even
slapped her and
threatened to take her
away forcibly.
Air courier
Jammu (PTI): The
Indian Air Force will
start air courier service
from Jammu and
Srinagar airports to
Kargil from December
6 to facilitate the
movement of people of
the remote areas
during winter.
Electrocuted
Alappuzha (PTI): A 25-
year-old man was
fatally electrocuted
within minutes of
lighting his mother’s
funeral pyre at a village
in the district. Sandeep
received a shock from a
pedestal fan kept near
his mother’s pyre.
Later, his funeral took
place close to the pyre
of his mother.
