A gunman has killed himselfafter opening fire during aFlorida school board meeting.

Clay Duke, 56, was believed to
be angry about his wife losing
her job.
A television reporter at the
meeting said he went up to the
podium at the Bay District School
Board meeting and said he had a
motion to propose.
He then pulled out a can of red
spray paint and went about
putting a "V" with a circle
around it on the wall.
Duke then pulled out a gun and
ordered everyone to leave
except board members.
They attempted to calm him
down, even offering to help find
his wife another job - but to no
avail.
Reports said Duke was known to
police for stalking and
obstructing justice
Duke started firing blank rounds
at the board members.
He was then confronted by a
female board member, who tried
to knock the gun out of his
grasp by swinging her handbag
at him.
But he pushed her to the
ground and started firing blanks
again, before turning the gun on
himself using a real bullet.
Reports said Duke was known to
police for offences, including
stalking and obstructing justice.
