OLYMPIC FLAG AND MOTTO

The olympic flag was designed by Baron de pierre coubertin in 1913 . The flag is milky white which exhibits peace and purity of spirit . This flag consists of five interlocking rings that represent five different continents of the world . These rings are of different colour . The red ring represent australia ,the green europe ,the yellow asia ,the blue america and the black africa . All these interlocked rings represented botherhood and cooperation in different continents .

The olympic flag has a motto which under the rings . The olympic motto consistr of latin words ,

CITIUS - Faster
ALTIUS - Higher
FORTIUS - stronger
