ELEMENTS OF YOGA :-
The elements of yoga have been described as ashtanga yoga . The ashtanga yoga has been derived from two words 'ashta' which means eight and 'anga' which means limbs. Hence ,ashtanga yoga is known as eight-limbed yoga his eight elements are :-
1)yama (moral codes)
2)nimaya (self purification and study)
3)asana (posture)
4)pranayama (breath control)
5)pratyahara (sence control)
6)dharana (concentration)
7)dhyana (meditation)
8)samadhi (contemplation)
