MARINE BIODIVERSITY
The ocean supPort a huge variety of different species from the world's largest mammels like whales and dolphins down to the tiniest plantons . The greatest diversities occur in the warmer seas of continental shelves where plants are easily able to photosynthesis and around coral reefs where complex ecosystem are found . On the ocean floor nematodes can exist at a depth of more than 3000 metre below sea level .
