With its temperature climate and rich mineral and natural resources . Europe is generally very densely settelled . The continent acts as a magnet for ecnomic migrants from the developing world and immigration is now widely restricted . Birthrates in europes are generally low and in some countries such as germany the populations have stabilized at zero growth with fast growing elderly population .
